OneDrive
OneDrive (Personal) supports backup & sync, online image preview, PDF reading, audio/video playback, and cloud hyperlinks — one of the most feature-complete cloud drives available (a premium feature, available on the Basic plan and above).
Authorization
Section titled “Authorization”In the Get Started tab, select OneDrive (Personal), then click the Authorization Button above to start the authorization process:
- Your browser will open the Microsoft sign-in page. Sign in with your Microsoft personal account (Outlook / Live / Hotmail email addresses are supported).
- On the permission confirmation page, click Accept to grant Sync Vault access.
- Once authorized, Sync Vault will automatically detect the authorization status and complete the binding. You can start using OneDrive now.
TIPScenario where no login page redirects: The plugin checks the current cloud disk authorization status. If authorization is already active and not expired, the button will change to “Cancel Authorization”. The OneDrive access token is refreshed automatically, so no re-authorization is needed.
After successful authorization, you will be redirected to the Quick Q&A Page, and you can start using OneDrive now.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Section titled “Where Your Data Is Stored”All synced data is stored inside the Sync Vault app folder in your OneDrive, so it never mixes with your personal files and does not affect your OneDrive root directory structure.
NOTEThe app folder is automatically created and managed by the Microsoft Graph API via the
approotmechanism. Do not manually move or rename this folder, or sync may break.
Supported Features
Section titled “Supported Features”- Backup & Sync: bidirectional multi-device vault sync, with chunked uploads for large files (4MB chunks with resumable upload)
- Online Preview: image thumbnails & preview, online PDF reading
- Media Playback: online audio and video playback (including paths with Chinese characters)
- Cloud Hyperlinks: insert OneDrive file links in your notes with hover preview
Cancel App Authorization
Section titled “Cancel App Authorization”Open the Third-party app permissions page for your Microsoft account, find “Sync Vault” in the Third-party apps & services list, and remove it to revoke authorization.
- OneDrive is a premium feature and requires the Basic plan or above.
- Only OneDrive Personal accounts are supported; work or school accounts (OneDrive for Business) are not supported yet.
- Authorization is relayed through Sync Vault’s OAuth service. Make sure your network can reach the Microsoft sign-in page.
